Azalea Pets is a pet-companion app: you chat with an AI companion named Azalea, and the app builds a living record of your pet — profile, photo timeline, weights, health items, reminders, written recaps and chapters, and shareable summaries for your vet.
Azalea is not a veterinarian, and nothing in the app is veterinary, medical, or emergency advice. Azalea's responses are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Always rely on a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment decisions. If your pet may be experiencing an emergency, contact your vet or an animal emergency hospital immediately — do not wait on the app.
You own the content you add — messages, photos, and records about your pet. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, display, and transmit that content to operate the service (including sending AI providers your messages and photos to generate responses, and emailing summaries where you direct). We don't sell your content or use it for third-party advertising.
Azalea Pets is a family-friendly space for you and your pet. You agree not to upload, submit, or request:
Enforcement. Automated safety systems screen messages and uploaded images. Content flagged by those systems may be reviewed by us, is removed from your pet's record, and counts against your account: serious or repeated violations result in suspension or permanent termination without notice. Where content appears to involve the sexual exploitation of a child, a credible threat to human life, or other serious unlawful activity, we may preserve the relevant content and account information and disclose it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, law enforcement, or other authorities where required or permitted by law.
You may connect a third-party AI assistant to your account, or create a personal API key, so that it can read your pets' records and add to them. When you do:
API acceptable use. If you build on or call the Azalea Pets API, you agree to: access only accounts whose owner has authorized you; stay within the published rate limits and not work around them; not use the API to write spam, advertising, or content that breaks these terms; not present API output as veterinary advice or use it to give diagnoses or medication dosing; not scrape, resell, or use account data to train models or for advertising; and not attempt to reach other users' data or probe the service. We may limit, suspend, or revoke API access, a key, or a connection at any time to protect users or the service. The API is provided as is, may change, and carries no uptime commitment. Summaries, recaps, chapters, captions, and chat replies are AI-generated from your records. Review anything important — particularly vet summaries — before relying on it or sending it to others.
Azalea Pets is currently offered without charge during its beta period. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and terms will be presented before you're charged.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azalea Intelligence LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access for violations of these terms or to protect the service, with notice where practical.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and noted in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
